Given the important role that teachers’ in-service training programs can play in their professional performance, efforts are needed in order to facilitate and expand the implementation of such programs. Clarifying and stressing the need for such programs is one way of helping with their design and implementation. In discovering the way of doing so, an extensive literature review was conducted and a sample of 40 sources was content analyzed and dimensions, constituents, and indices of a model identified. To validate the model, an opinion survey of academic and organizational experts was conducted and the validity ratio and index of the revised model was calculated to be adequate. Therefore, the constructed model can serve as a guide for maximizing the effectiveness of implemented in-service training programs for teachers across the entire Ministry of Education. |
